What is unorphaned?

WE ARE A CROWDFUNDING PLATFORM THAT HELPS FAMILIES FINANCIALLY THROUGHOUT THEIR ADOPTION JOURNEY.

Our purpose is to:

  1. Encourage local community awareness and understanding toward adoption.
  2. Provide a legal, practical, and excellent organizational model for financially assisting those who are adopting.
  3. Create a platform for crowdfunding adoptions.
THE TOTAL COST OF AN ADOPTION CAN BE UP TO $50,000.
MANY FAMILIES DESIRE TO ADOPT, BUT THE COST OF ADOPTION IS THE NUMBER ONE REASON FAMILIES DO NOT ADOPT.

WHY USE UNORPHANED FOR YOUR ADOPTION?

  1. UnOrphaned has found that donors are far more generous when they can support a family through an IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization like UnOrphaned Foundation.
  2. Some donors have access to Corporate Matching Gift programs through their employer. Employers will match a donation to an IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization. However, many Corporate Matching Gift programs will not donate to a religious 501(c)(3) organization.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK WITH UNORPHANED?​

  1. UnOrphaned is made up of partners.
  2. A partner sponsors a family into UnOrphaned.
  3. Once an adopting family is sponsored, they will complete an online application and submit a photo of their family.
  4. UnOrphaned will work with each family through the fundraising process.
  5. The UnOrphaned community may assist families that complete the fundraising process, but still have financial needs.
